Angelina with coffee & goodies is 400 meters walk away. Musee d'orsay is just walking distance from the hotel: D
I liked the style of the hotel, the location and staff (very friendly and extremly helpful)
A little pricey, but perhaps on reflection competitive in the luxury range. I knew the price before booking!
A great young staff with eagerness to help and to exceed expectations. The hotel is located in a very centralized location and has great rooms, speciosus, and luxurious. The spa was great. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.
Ordering tickets through the hotel had an extra charges which were a bit high.
Le Burgundy Hotel had a very approachable staff who catered to most of my needs very well. The concierge in particular were first-rate and swiftly dealt with all of my requests. The amenities and the cleanliness of the hotel room are what I would expect of a five star hotel in a major city.
My biggest problem with this hotel was the overpowering perfume/fragrance at the reception. As soon as you enter the hotel it does hit you and it's not a pleasant initial experience. The rooms could also be a little bigger given the price but I guess the location makes up for some of it.
The staff were excellent. The location was excellent. Having the luxury of a swimming pool (to ourselves!) in the centre of Paris was wonderful.
We expected much larger rooms for the high price of the hotel - they looked bigger and more design orientated on the website. The cost of any extras such as breakfast, pay-per-view films, or anything from the minibar was ridiculously high (eg 25 Euros to watch a film in your room,30 Euros for breakfast, 8 Euros for some nuts!)
The hotel is beautiful! (Because of the contemporary style, the bathroom, bedside tables and desk/table en the room is not as comfortable as in more conventional luxery hotels, but it is much more beautiful.) The staff is wonderful, helpful, friendly and the location is excellent. The atmosphere of the public areas is wonderful. I love the bar and as a single traveler they made me feel as ease and treat me like a queen. The chef is very good! Service in the restaurant still need some attention, but I'm sure will get there. In general...this hotel is a jewel and anybody will do himself a favour to go and stay there. I'll deffinitly return.
The friendliness of all the staff who were extremely helpful at all times. The hotel is in an ideal location, being just off the main streets, but still quiet and secluded.
Wonderfully comfortable bed and excellent blackout curtains/double glazing. Little treats were delicious. Very prestigious address and walking distance from musee d'orsay.
The prices. 25 Euros to watch a 1948 movie! (Casablanca) Booked this as a lavish gift for someone who couldn't go and ending up taking their place because the hotel refused to refund. I appreciate non-redundable booking policy but disappointed that a 5* hotel stuck to this when given apply notice.
The proximity to St Honore, Pont Alexander iii, the gardens and the general sophisticated feel of the area were the main points. Specific to the hotel, the staff, the quiet room and free access to reliable wireless connection. And of course the complimentary h2o.
The cleaning of the rooms are left a bit too late. One day our room was not cleaned until about 4pm.Between 12 noon and 2pm would be better. We stayed for 6 nights and the sleepers were not replaced at all.
The location, staff, and the decoration of the hotel was superb. The michelin starred restaurant is also a must.
Loved the decor, the candles, the restaurant's food, the bed was amazing, the pool was splendid, the amenities, the architecture, the location—all perfect and wonderful.
The silverware and plates are over-designed and difficult to use. While the staff was cordial, there was a lack of warmth except for a wonderful front desk person named Eddie who was delightfully accommodating. The spa's shower was ridiculously poorly lit—couldn't see anything. And the bathroom shower and the tub were dangerously slippery for anyone—particularly the older traveler. A handle and/or mat to place in the bottom would be good.
Atmosphere, beautiful design and detailing everywhere, excellent service from staff, spa. Free upgrade because we were on honeymoon.
Overpriced food, particularly breakfast. Internet not working in our room despite assurances it had been fixed.
Worth a full 5-star ranking
From the outside you do not expect this kind of hotel. But staff, service and room are top notch. We have stayed at many of Paris top hotel but this one......
The should change the live jazz music to some more lounge music.
It was truly a delightful experience, staying at the Le Burgundy. I have stayed at many 5 star hotels in Paris, and this is one of my top recommendations. The suite was very elegant with good balance, and not too decorative or on the other hand too modern as in the case of many hotels of this class. I was also happy about the service quality.
